A filter medium made of Polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE) fibres is successfully being used in a dust collector of a biomass incineration plant. The warranty term of 24 months was fulfilled and the filter bags are still working to the satisfaction of the plant operator.

In order to achieve an optimal dust collection, we applied a surface coating to the filter medium. The pore structure is optimized this way, which results in an even better cake release.
